Job details

About us The Institute for Ethical Use (IEU) is a Canadian certification body for the ethical use of AI. Our training is built for everybody: the receptionists, salespeople, and business owners already using AI every day, and our company certification confirms that a business as a whole is using AI ethically. The role You'll turn our marketing strategy into consistent weekly content across our channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, X), working directly with the founding team. We have the brand system, the templates, and the strategy; we need someone with the craft, consistency, and social fluency to keep it alive every week. What you'll do Create and edit short-form video, and repurpose longer content into clips (Reels, TikTok, Shorts). Write LinkedIn content in our house style: posts, carousels, and commentary on AI news. Build Instagram content in Canva from our brand templates. Manage the content calendar and schedule posts across platforms. Handle community engagement: monitor comments and messages, respond in our voice, and flag anything sensitive to the team rather than improvising. Support professional networking and outreach alongside our founding team. Track engagement and traffic with basic analytics and report what's working (we measure with first-party UTM links, no tracking pixels). Pitch in on paid social and search basics as we grow that channel. What we're looking for Demonstrated short-form video editing and content creation skills: a portfolio, a class project, or an account you've grown. Polish matters less than judgment and consistency. Strong written English; French is an asset as we expand. Comfort with design and editing tools of your choice (Canva, CapCut, Premiere, or similar). Experience with, or genuine interest in, B2B social and professional audiences. Interest in AI and its use in the workplace. You don't need to be an expert; you'll complete our certification training as part of onboarding. One rule we take seriously: everything we publish is accurate, sourced, and honest, and AI-generated content is always labeled as such. We market an ethics institute the way an ethics institute should market . Pay and hours $30-$40 per hour depending on experience and background, 15-20 hours per week to start, flexible scheduling.
