Location: Whitby, Ontario Applicants must live in Durham Region or within a reasonable commuting distance of our Whitby office. Is This You? This is a commission-based opportunity with leads provided by Insurance Lab, allowing you to focus on advising clients, preparing competitive quotes, closing business, and building long-term relationships. You will receive the systems, market access, training, and ongoing support needed to convert those opportunities into clients. You will not be expected to build your pipeline entirely from scratch. However, your success will depend on your responsiveness, follow-up, sales ability, and quality of service. Your Responsibilities Contact and follow up with leads provided by Insurance Lab Understand each client’s insurance needs and risk profile Prepare and present personal or commercial insurance quotations Explain coverage options, exclusions, and pricing clearly Recommend appropriate insurance solutions based on the client’s needs Follow up consistently and professionally to convert opportunities Complete applications and collect all required documents Maintain accurate client records and comply with brokerage procedures Manage renewals, policy changes, and ongoing client relationships Identify cross-selling opportunities across auto, home, and commercial insurance Build and retain a profitable long-term book of business Lead Support Insurance Lab will provide access to incoming and internally generated leads, including: Auto insurance inquiries Home, tenant, and condo insurance inquiries Commercial insurance opportunities Referral and digital marketing leads Cross-selling opportunities from existing clients Lead volume and type may vary. Leads are business opportunities and do not guarantee sales or a specific level of income. Brokers are expected to respond quickly, follow up consistently, and manage each opportunity professionally. Qualifications An active Ontario RIBO licence is preferred Candidates currently working toward their RIBO licence may also be considered Insurance, financial services, customer service, or sales experience is an asset Strong telephone, email, and client communication skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple opportunities Additional languages are considered an asset Must live in Durham Region or within a reasonable commuting distance of Whitby Compensation Commission-based compensation Performance-based earning potential Leads provided by Insurance Lab Opportunity to earn renewal commissions and build a long-term book of business, subject to the brokerage’s compensation structure Additional incentives or bonuses may be available based on production and performance This is not a fixed-salary position. Earnings depend on production, conversion, retention, and overall performance.
