Senior Structural Engineer (PE) Caledon, Ontario | Permanent | Full‑Time A high‑performing engineering organisation is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer (PE) to take ownership of complex building designs and lead technical delivery at the highest level. This is not a support role. You will be trusted to make decisions, solve non‑standard problems, and sign off engineered solutions with confidence. The Opportunity You’ll work on challenging, performance‑driven building projects that demand strong judgement and deep structural expertise. The role suits a senior engineer who enjoys technical ownership, limited supervision, and being the go‑to authority when problems don’t fit neatly into a handbook. What You’ll Be Doing Leading the design and analysis of complex building structures Solving non‑standard structural conditions and bespoke interfaces Producing, reviewing, and stamping calculations, reports, and drawings Applying building codes, standards, and certification requirements Acting as a technical authority through permitting and authority reviews Supporting construction with site visits, inspections, and technical input Mentoring engineers and setting technical quality standards Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver buildable solutions What You’ll Bring Active Professional Engineer (PE) license (essential) Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering 4+ years’ experience in building structures (not infrastructure) Proven ability to deliver complex designs independently Hands‑on experience with steel, concrete, and timber Confidence working as Engineer of Record or signing technical work Strong knowledge of structural analysis software Willingness to relocate to Caledon, Ontario
