The Mel Jr. & Marty Zajac Foundation is a not-for-profit organization, located in Vancouver, BC, whose mandate is to support children, seniors and those with special needs through innovative community projects focused on developing lifelong skills and independence. Our current major focus is Zajac Ranch for Children, a camp in Mission, BC, for children with chronic, life-threatening and/or debilitating conditions.

Maintain and repair buildings, facilities, and grounds at Zajac Ranch to ensure a safe and welcoming environment. Tasks include carpentry, basic plumbing, painting, and seasonal groundskeeping to support camp operations.

The dishwasher is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all dishware, utensils, and kitchen equipment while maintaining the cleanliness of the dining hall and washrooms. They also assist the Chef with food preparation and ensure the safe operation of kitchen equipment.

Responsible for food production and preparation for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for groups up to 120 people. This includes managing buffet services for camps and special events while adhering to safety and sanitation standards.
