Position: Senior Draftsperson, Electrical Where will you work: Onsite, Mosaic K1 Site - Esterhazy, Saskatchewan Shift Schedule – 9/80 Schedule Hourly: - As per CBA What you’ll do? Prepare schematics, piping and instrumentation diagrams, general arrangements, and layouts for complete electrical and instrumentation systems with a minimum of supervision. Prepare detail drawings, wiring diagrams, and B.O.M.s for fabrication and construction. Design basic electrical, instrumentation, and control systems including performance of relevant calculations. Obtain field measurements and checks and other information pertinent to preparation of required drawings. Perform checking of complex general arrangements and detailed construction and fabrication drawings. Use computer programs to assist in upgrading of various reports, cost estimates, data bases, and calculations. Perform basic cable, motor, and starter size calculations and selections. Perform calculations and selection of equipment overload protection devices and instrumentation loop loading characteristics. Prepare fabrication and construction freehand sketches of simple components and circuits. Retrieve, trace, redraw, distribute, and file general engineering document. Diligently adhere to all relevant legal environmental requirements. Diligently ensure that all relevant OH&S requirements and in-house safety regulations are complied with. What You’ll Need Completed two years' engineering technology training with courses in electrical drafting, computer technology, and/or computer-aided electrical design and drafting or equivalent experience. Knowledge of materials, complex electrical/electronic circuitry, industrial machinery, machine components, and industrial electrical and electronic equipment. At least three years' postgraduate drafting experience in related industrial and design drafting. Thorough knowledge of current technical drafting standards and applicable I.S.A. and S.A.M.A. drafting symbology. Thorough working knowledge of at least one computer-aided drafting system. Knowledge of current technical practice including the applicable Canadian Electrical Code Part I and applicable supplements. Requirements

Requires two years of engineering technology training in electrical drafting and at least three years of postgraduate industrial drafting experience. Must have thorough knowledge of CAD systems, Canadian Electrical Code, and ISA/SAMA symbology.
