The North Perth Public Library is seeking a Manager of Branch Experience (12-month contract) to provide leadership to assigned staff, support strategic direction, and help ensure every interaction with the Library is positive, accessible, and responsive to the needs of our community. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by connecting people, services, and resources while supporting a team committed to serving the community. About the Role Reporting to the Library CEO, this role leads assigned staff, advises on policy and strategic direction, and focuses on removing barriers and providing excellent customer service to the community. This role champions customer service excellence to ensure accessible and welcoming library experiences. Work Environment This is an on-site operational leadership position. Work is primarily based out of the Listowel Library, with attendance at all 3 Library branches throughout North Perth. This is an ideal opportunity if you enjoy being connected to the work, the team, and the community. Successful candidates will bring: * Post-secondary education in library science, ALA accredited MLIS. * 3 years related, progressive work experience within libraries. * 2 years supervisory experience preferred. * Excellent customer service and communication skills; ability to display good judgment when providing service with a variety of audiences. * Strong knowledge of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and related Library Act legislation. * First Aid certification or willingness to obtain. Salary is based upon a 35-hour work week and will align with experience and qualifications.
