Founded by parenting educator and author, Dr. Vanessa Lapointe, The North Star Developmental Clinic (formerly The Wishing Star) is the destination private practice in Metro Vancouver for child-related support services with a focus on strengthening relationships, enhancing resilience, and building competence and confidence in our clients. Our team offers children and their families compassionate and skillful support to address their needs through counselling, parent support, psychoeducational assessments, workshops and support groups. The North Star is located in the beautiful seaside community of South Surrey/White Rock. The North Star is co-directed by the dynamic duo of Dr. Lapointe and David Loyst.

The successful candidate will assess learning differences and related exceptionalities in children, adolescents, and young adults. They will employ an integrative, developmentally-informed, and family-centered approach to assessment.
