Job summary

Required Job Qualifications Education/Experience: Bachelor of Science Degree in electrical (preferred), civil or mechanical engineering Good understanding of PV, Storage, and/or Wind technology, preferably solar Previous experience of 7+ years on renewable energy projects is required Minimum 2+ years as a project engineer Requires diversified knowledge of relevant codes, standards and engineering principles and practices required to produce safe, efficient, reliable, easy-to-operate and maintain, and cost-effective designs Experienced with various Microsoft and engineering software, including AutoCAD, ETAP, and/or any other power system software Experience/Knowledge with PV tooling software is preferred (i.e., PVSyst, PVCAse, System Advisory Model) Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Strong organizational skills Ability to manage several projects/tasks simultaneously Pro-active, flexible and autonomous Highly motivated self-starter and good team player Utilize problem-solving skills to quickly address project challenges Experience reviewing civil, structural or electrical engineering design packages Desire to work in a dynamic environment alongside people with varied interest and backgrounds
