Role Description The Content Strategist at THE PLAYHOUSE is a full time, on-site role based in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada, with flexibility for some work from home. This role involves developing and refining content strategies that align with client goals, brand voice, and target audiences. Day-to-day tasks include planning content calendars, collaborating with creative and marketing teams, overseeing content production, and ensuring consistency across digital platforms. The Content Strategist will write and shoot scripts, adjust strategies based on insights, and contribute to new ideas that make brand content more engaging and effective. Qualifications Ability to develop and implement effective content strategy, including planning, audience targeting, and brand alignment (Content Strategy). Skills in shaping and producing content ideas from concept to final deliverable, with attention to messaging and tone (Content Development). Strong writing skills, including grammar, clarity, and the ability to adapt style for different brands and formats (Writing). Experience working in a hybrid environment, with the ability to collaborate in person in the Greater Toronto Area and remotely. Comfort using analytics or performance tools to interpret content results and refine strategy. Strong communication, organization, and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a part-time capacity. Previous experience in content, marketing, or creative roles; post-secondary education in communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field is an asset. Knowledge with iphone shooting or cinematography/videographer. Editing experience is a plus.
