Position Summary We are looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused individual for the position of Forklift Operator - Order Builder. The Forklift Operator - Order Builder prepares customer orders for delivery with the safe operation of a lift truck. Together with other team members, the Forklift Operator works to exceed customer expectations. The wage range for this position is $22.50 - $30 per hour (Tier 1; $22.50 - $26, Tier 2; $26 - $30). Key Responsibilities Perform daily inspections of lift trucks and complete required forms. Ensure lift truck maintenance and servicing requirements are met. Build orders to required specifications for delivery. Load and unload building materials in a safe and efficient manner. Check load contents for accuracy and secure materials. Ensure that all products are shipped on schedule and according to specific instructions by management to meet customer demands. Maintain contact with supervisors and work to resolve issues as they arise. Act as an ambassador of the company with all employees and customers. Follow all regulations, company policies, and procedures. Other duties as assigned by management. Basic Qualifications Valid forklift certification (propane). Minimum of two years' experience. Effective written and oral communication skills. Knowledge of basic mathematics. Basic hand tool skills. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs. Sitting and driving for longs periods of time. Frequently climbing up and down stairs. Pulling, pushing, bending and torso twisting movements with weight.
