Raisebore Operators and Assistant Operators

Rotation is dependent on Project Travel and accommodation will be provided in accordance with the work location. Job Summary: The primary role of a Raisebore Operator is to direct and perform the activities with respect to all facets of operating the raisedrill machinery, including moving, set up, pilot hole drilling, installation / removal of reamer, MUBO tool, inspection and tear down. In addition, the Raisebore Operator is responsible to mentor and train the and Assistant Raisebore Operator in the safe operation of the various Redpath raisedrills. Direct and perform all activities related to operating raisedrill machinery, including setup, drilling, and tool installation. Mentor and train Assistant Raisebore Operators in safe equipment operation.

Requires a secondary school diploma and 1-2 years of experience operating various classes of raisedrills. Preference is given to candidates with college education in mechanical trades and 3-5 years of experience with Redpath equipment.
