You'll hold a pivotal role in managing a diverse portfolio of insurance accounts, providing bespoke solutions that align with our clients' unique insurance needs. Your role is instrumental in nurturing and retaining client relationships through exceptional service and insurance expertise. Key Responsibilities: - Independently manage a diverse portfolio of insurance accounts, making strategic decisions to meet and surpass client expectations. - Deliver exemplary, personalized service to clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met with professionalism and courtesy. - Engage in account development activities, including identifying opportunities for new business within existing accounts, in line with our established standards and practices. - Conduct thorough reviews of clients’ insurance objectives, offering critical analysis to ensure the insurance solutions provided are of the highest suitability and value. - Remain informed about the insurance industry's evolving landscape, proactively addressing any changes that could affect clients and offering informed recommendations. - Serve as the primary intermediary between clients and insurance providers, adeptly handling complex service issues that require expert negotiation and resolution skills. - Address and resolve claims and billing discrepancies, ensuring client satisfaction. - Commit to the retention and growth of your assigned client book, contributing to the brokerage's overall goals through new business development and cross-selling initiatives. - Organize and lead client meetings as necessary, providing insightful advice and fostering strong client relationships. - Ensure meticulous documentation of client interactions and transactions, maintaining the integrity and accuracy of data within our systems. - Generate and submit reports to management as needed, offering insights into account performance and opportunities. - Pursue continuous professional development through industry-related education and training, staying ahead of trends and regulatory requirements. Qualifications: - Mandatory agency background, with expertise in commercial lines. - A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a preference for candidates holding a bachelor’s degree. - Valid licensure in relevant insurance lines and provinces, with current Continuing Education (CE) credits. - Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, coupled with superior customer service and problem-solving capabilities. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with agency management systems (e.g., Acturis, QBO/Xero, CRM platforms). - A collaborative team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Additional Details: - No travel required. - This position is situated within our Account Management & Service Department, offering a competitive salary ($50,000 - $80,000/yr) and benefits package.
