Location: North York or Hamilton, ON Schedule:Monday - Friday | 8:00am - 5:00pm Position: Existing Vacancy Annual Salary:$50,000 - $60,000 Type: Term Position What You’ll Do Coordinate and maintain driver schedules—keeping communication clear and consistent. Receive and verify customer orders in the TMW system and schedule loads efficiently. Dispatch loads to drivers, sharing all relevant details such as shift plans, truck assignments, and route information. Confirm load deliveries, update systems, and escalate issues promptly to management. Be the go-to person for drivers—answering questions, resolving challenges, and ensuring a smooth workflow. Monitor safety, service incidents, and performance metrics to keep operations on track. Support operations by managing calls and providing real-time solutions. Collaborate with the broader operations team to ensure every load, route, and driver stays on schedule. What You Bring Post-secondary education in business, logistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 2+ years of experience in transportation or logistics; dispatch experience is a strong asset. Knowledge of ELD systems and TMW software is an advantage. Excellent communication and organizational skills—you're the calm in the storm. Strong attention to detail with the ability to juggle multiple priorities. A team-player attitude and a passion for problem-solving. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems.
