Description Join the Seaboard Team Today! Position Overview: The Operations Supervisor plays a key role in ensuring the efficient and safe coordination of driver operations. This position is responsible for maintaining a strong focus on safety, driver and customer relationships and customer service, The Operations Supervisor provides and support to the driver coordination team, assists in training new staff, and ensures that all operational processes are followed in accordance with company policies and industry regulations. Location: St. John's or Corner Brook, NL. Open to other locations for the right candidate Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00am - 5:00pm | Available to work evenings & weekends as needed. Key Responsibilities Safety, Compliance, and Operational Processes Create a culture of discipline around safety, service, and operational process performance. Report all safety and service incidents promptly to management. Support HSE programs and activities, including onsite emergency response as required. Collaborate with Compliance on TDG card and TMW-related issues. Champion effective work processes and documented standard operating procedures. Driver and Team Support Address day-to-day driver issues and support a driver-centric culture built on respect and business alignment. Provide driver, operations, HSE, and site support, including regular cross-island travel as part of weekly activities. Train and support new team members to ensure consistent performance and adherence to procedures. Contribute to a professional, team-oriented work environment and support continuous improvement initiatives. Customer Service and Communication Provide the first line of response to escalated customer complaints and concerns related to safety and driver performance. Remain professional and responsive to customer demands while upholding company safety standards and ethics. Provide clear, concise, and timely communication with customers, suppliers, employees, and drivers. Respond to general inquiries that do not fall within designated dispatch groups. Operational Coverage and Support Provide support to Seaboard operations and remain accountable to the Seaboard management team. Carry the designated phone while on shift to provide coverage for after-hours calls. Work with the Fuel Department to resolve fuel card and driver badge-related issues. Perform other duties and provide operational support as required. Requirements Education and Experience Post-secondary education in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is an asset. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in dispatch, transportation coordination, or logistics, with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory capacity. Technical Skills Proficiency with TMW or similar transportation management systems. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word). Knowledge Understanding of transportation operations, safety regulations, and hours of service requirements. Familiarity with TDG compliance is an asset. Competencies Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Proven leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Customer service-oriented with a proactive approach to issue resolution. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments. Availability Flexibility to provide after-hours coverage as required.

Requirements
Candidates should have 3-5 years of experience in dispatch or logistics, including at least one year in a supervisory role. Post-secondary education in Logistics or Business Administration and proficiency with TMW or similar transportation management systems are preferred.
