We are currently looking for a General Labourer in Hardwoodlands, NS. Participating in all aspects of operation of the packaging plant, you will be responsible for: Use automated equipment to package and palletize product Maintain a clean work environment Carry out facility maintenance requirements as directed from the Site Supervisor Quality control testing on products Communicating with incoming and outgoing crews on plant operation. Reporting to the Site Supervisor on any issues regarding quality, safety, maintenance, and production. Maintaining all levels of communication, such as production, log books, and verbal communication. Fill in as Packaging Line Operator when needed Safe and efficient operation of all plant equipment Other duties, as may be required. Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required: Commitment to a safe work culture. Self-motivated, with the ability to work unsupervised and provide leadership when required. Experience in operating automated manufacturing process equipment considered an asset Mechanical aptitude & experience Ability to work in a team environment Forklift and front end loader experience considered an asset Must be able to lift to or greater than 50 lbs. as required.
