Service Associate Cambridge, ON Job Type: Full-time Level: Intermediate Salary Range: 45,000-55,000 per year As a Service Associate, you will help bridge the relationship between the advisors and their clients. You are responsible for the start to finish process of client meetings and a vital part of the day-to-day operations of The Steele Group. This role provides top-notch customer service, addressing client inquiries and facilitating smooth interactions, thereby contributing to the firm's commitment to exceptional client experiences and financial success. An understanding of the financial services sector is an asset - particularly in areas such as Investments, Insurance, Company Benefits & Pensions. This role requires the ability to adapt quickly and comfortably to change and handle stress in a high-pressure environment with strong time-management and prioritization skills. Service Associates provide superior service by being proactive in meeting client needs. This role supports the client relationship through interacting directly with team members, advisors, and clients to ensure meeting readiness and successful completion of post meeting action items. This role also includes other practice management tasks on an as needed basis such as ad hoc research and completion of miscellaneous administrative projects. It's important to maintain a positive, friendly, and motivated environment within the team while adapting to our changing business needs. Duties and Responsibilities Prep OneNote Creation Update or Create Financial Plan shell Generate client reports Prepare Documents in preparation of meeting Ensure quality output is maintained with low ratio error reoccurrence Execute adhoc advisor requests Processing Ensure completeness and accuracy of all market-based trade instructions within MFDA Standards Responsible for execution and completion of all action items outlined in the advisor client meeting notes Actioning adhoc client requests Transfer tracking and follow up Responding and actioning client inquiries Processing Insurance Premium payments in a timely manner Complete post meeting notes/highlights Other Responsible for assisting with calendar management and managing client requests as needed Prepare and deliver monthly/quarterly client reports Sundry duties/projects as assigned Technical Skills Windows 10 Microsoft Office programs: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel Content Management System (CMS): SalesForce.com Calendar management software: Calendly Team collaboration software: Microsoft OneNote, Teams Qualifications Mutual Fund License, CSC preferred Perks of the Job Competitive pay and vacation policy Group benefits after 6 months Group retirement savings plan Friday lunches
