Corporate Operations Analyst Oakville, ON | Hybrid | Financial Services Our client, a growing investment and wealth management firm, is looking to add a Corporate Operations Analyst to its team in Oakville. This is an excellent opportunity for an operations professional with 2+ years of experience in portfolio operations or financial services to take on a broad role supporting fund operations, portfolio administration, relationship management, cash management, and business acquisitions. The successful candidate will work closely with Portfolio Managers, Advisors, Relationship Managers, custodians, fund administrators, and internal teams, playing an important role in delivering a seamless experience for both internal and external stakeholders. The Opportunity Fund & Custodian Operations — 25% Develop and maintain strong relationships with fund administrators and custodians. Coordinate payments for fund companies, NBIN, and custodians. Set up and coordinate new fund issues with Portfolio Managers. Manage Fundserv setup, pooled fund reconciliations, and NAV oversight. Execute foreign exchange transactions on behalf of Portfolio Managers. Coordinate semi-annual distributions and financial statement production. Support and coordinate fund audits. Manage tax-related items, including tax slips and inquiries. Calculate fund operating fees and ensure timely payment to all parties. Process fund-related invoices and capital calls. Prepare fund performance reports. System Administration & Reporting — 25% Administer the portfolio management system, including platforms such as Harmony. Process Annual Return of Capital. Prepare and distribute weekly pooled fund trade summaries. Support ongoing system and reporting requirements across the business. Portfolio Administration & Relationship Management — 30% Respond to requests from clients, custodians, Portfolio Managers, Advisors, and Relationship Managers. Provide day-to-day operational and administrative support to internal and external stakeholders. Manage a variety of ad-hoc client and Portfolio Manager requests. Work collaboratively across sales, client service, administration, and investment teams. Take on additional responsibilities as business needs evolve. Business Acquisitions — 15% Assist with the onboarding and operational conversion of acquired firms. Support integration activities and ensure a smooth transition for clients and internal teams. Take on additional project responsibilities as required. Cash Management & Business Continuity — 5% Cross-train across key operational functions to ensure business continuity. Provide backup and coverage for cash management activities, including: Daily cash management and recurring client payments. Cash management for pooled funds. Monthly cash management to raise funds for management fees. Ad-hoc client redemption requests from advisor offices. Investigating and resolving cash discrepancies. Trading money market securities to meet client cash requirements. What We're Looking For University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in portfolio operations or relevant financial services experience. CSC certification is required. Experience with portfolio management systems such as Harmony. Strong proficiency with Excel. Experience with Bloomberg, NBIN, Fidelity, Raymond James, and DocuSign is an asset. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Ability to work effectively across multiple departments and competing priorities. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated. A proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership and follow through. Compensation & Benefits Base Salary: $65,000–$75,000 Discretionary performance bonus of up to 20% of base salary Competitive group benefits program Employer-matched savings plan Standard business hours with occasional overtime as required Work Model First 3–6 months: On-site in the Oakville office, 5 days per week Thereafter: Hybrid model with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office Reports directly to the Manager, Operations Why This Opportunity?
