Install, configure, deploy, and support middleware and Oracle financial applications, while maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines and managing application releases across development, testing, staging, and production environments. Troubleshoot production issues, perform patching and upgrades, provide on-call support, and coordinate release and infrastructure activities with cross-functional teams.

Role: ARE - Application Release Engineer Location: Toronto, ON -Hybrid, 4 days onsite Duration: 6+ months ROLE PROFILE Job Description/ Responsibilities 1. Install, configure, and maintain WebLogic, Tomcat, and OAS instances on RHEL 7. 2. Set up, deploy, and support Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana clusters; rebuild/restore indices and manage license renewals. 3. Design and implement High Availability (HA) and High Scalability solutions for middleware and application environments. 4. Administer, deploy, and provide production support for Oracle OFSAA/OFSDF 8.x, ODI, DIH, OAS, and related components. 5. Create and maintain fully automated CI/CD pipelines for application deployments using Rundeck, XL Release, and GIT. 6. Perform regular application deployments (EAR/WAR) across Dev, QA, Staging, and Production environments following change management processes. 7. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to Java applications, Tomcat, Apache httpd, Hazelcast, JDBC, and database connectivity. 8. Execute monthly patching activities and support application upgrades/migrations in production and PAT environments. 9. Provide 24/7 on-call support and participate in shift rotations for critical in-house applications. 10. Coordinate with Build, Network, Development, QA, and PMO teams; raise LB/VIP requests and deliver architectural recommendations. What are the top 3 skills required for this role?
