How you will make an impact: Seeking an Accounts Receivable Analyst who will provide analytic support to the Accounts Receivable team. The successful candidate will implement accounting, controls and compliance procedures to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. In addition, the position holder will identify and recommend operational improvement opportunities, and support leadership in achieving of business objectives. They will be responsible for accurate Accounts Receivable reporting including all journal entries as well as the preparation of all monthly and quarterly reconciliations. They will be a member of a large team and provide support in review and maintenance of AR processes, metrics and improvements. What you will do: • Perform monthly closing activities including journal entries, accruals, reporting and analysis • Prepare accounts receivable aging reports and various accounts receivable performance metrics • Prepare and ensure accurate and timely completion of monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting packages • Support internal and external audit requirements • Ensure compliance with company policy, approval authority matrix and standard operating procedure; recommend changes to strengthen control environment • Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounts receivable processes, including updating and review of accounts receivable SOPs • Review and support requests for down payments, credit limit reviews, credit risk control, and account monitoring How you will get here: Requirements • 5 or more years of progressive accounts receivable or accounting experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 2 years of accounting experience Knowledge, Skills, Abilities • Excellent understanding of financial accounting standards and internal controls • Strong understanding of the full accounts receivable cycle • Intermediate proficiency in Excel, including use of v and x lookups and pivot tables • Proficient verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work in a dynamic, complex, fast-paced environment and to be flexible in adapting to shifting priorities • Ability to work independently and also with a team-focused environment Travel requirements Less than 25% domestic/international travel required Compensation The estimated annualized pay range for this position in Ontario is –.
