Data Integration Specialist

We are looking for a Data Integration Specialist to join an enterprise team and help build, optimize, and maintain reliable data solutions that support operational decision-making. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in data engineering, database development, ETL/ELT processes, and data quality management who enjoys working with complex datasets and building scalable solutions. Location: Downtown Toronto (Hybrid) Employment Type: Full-Time What You’ll Be Doing: Design, develop, and maintain relational database structures using PostgreSQL Build and enhance ETL/ELT workflows to integrate data from multiple sources Develop data transformation, validation, and automation processes using SQL and Python Create data models and optimize database performance for operational datasets Perform data reconciliation, cleansing, standardization, and quality improvements Develop processes for entity matching, record validation, and maintaining trusted datasets Collaborate with business and technical teams to improve data reliability and accessibility Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve efficiency What We’re Looking For: 3+ years of experience in Data Integration, Data Engineering, Database Development, or related roles Strong hands-on experience with SQL and Python Experience working with PostgreSQL including database design, schemas, indexing, and optimization Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and ETL/ELT solutions Strong understanding of relational data modelling and database structures Experience with data quality, validation, reconciliation, and standardization Ability to work with large, complex datasets from multiple sources Nice to Have: Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) Knowledge of entity resolution, matching algorithms, or record linkage Experience with data governance, lineage, or audit processes Background supporting operational, infrastructure, location-based, or customer data environments
