Job summary

We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator with strong hands-on expertise across Microsoft SQL Server, Azure database administration, Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains), and Salesforce CRM. The ideal candidate should be comfortable supporting both on-premises and cloud/Azure environments, with strong DBA, application support, reporting, integration, and SaaS administration experience. Public sector experience is preferred, and the role requires 5 days onsite in Toronto. Must-Have Required Skill Set Microsoft SQL Server / Database Administration – Strong hands-on DBA experience including database design, optimization, performance tuning, backup/recovery, capacity planning, migration, and troubleshooting. Azure Database Administration – Experience administering and supporting databases in Microsoft Azure / cloud environments, along with on-premises infrastructure. Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) – Strong hands-on experience supporting, administering, and troubleshooting Dynamics GP, particularly in finance-related environments. Salesforce CRM Administration – Practical hands-on experience with Salesforce CRM administration, support, configuration, and integrations. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance / Business Central – Understanding or hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Finance and Business Central is highly valuable. SQL Reporting / Report Builder – Experience developing and supporting reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Report Builder, or similar Microsoft reporting tools. Database Performance & Operations – Experience with performance tuning, database optimization, monitoring, capacity planning, backup/recovery, installation, and migration. Microsoft 365 / SharePoint / Teams / Power Platform – Experience supporting SharePoint, MS Teams, Power Apps/Power Platform, and Microsoft 365 administration. Application & SaaS Support – Experience supporting web applications, ticketing systems, SaaS platforms, and third-party integrations/APIs in a Microsoft technology environment. Microsoft Technology Stack / Integration – Exposure to .NET MVC, MS SQL, SharePoint, Team Foundation Server/Azure DevOps, APIs, and Microsoft-based web applications.
