These positions will support with housekeeping and homemaking activities, transporting clients to medical appointments, deliveries to clinets, wellness calls as well as other PSA duties as required. No personal care is required in this role and is great for individuals with no experience but looking to get into the healthcare field. Employment Requirements: Some high school education. Prior experience or knowledge of providing support services for people with disabilities and/or seniors an asset. Ability to empathize with people with physical and emotional needs is essential. Knowledge of basic math and ability to do calculations and quantity measurements are required. Must be able to plan and organize work and perform tasks according to priority. Ability to make solid decisions and problem-solve effectively are also essential. Good oral and written communication skills, with a competent level of English are required. Must demonstrate high commitment to providing exceptional customer service and be reliable, punctual, and capable of managing time effectively. Ability to develop supportive relationships and work collaboratively with clients, family members, colleagues, volunteers, and community partners are essential. Must be able to take direction and work independently as well as part of a team. What you’ll do
Provide support to clients through housekeeping, homemaking, and transportation to medical appointments to promote independent living. Perform wellness calls and other administrative duties to monitor client well-being.
Requirements
Requires some high school education, a valid driver's license, and access to a vehicle. Candidates must possess strong communication skills and the ability to empathize with people with physical and emotional needs.
