We are looking for a dynamic Sales Manager to join our team for this in-office position based at our Burnaby, BC headquarters. Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will be the driving force behind our day-to-day sales operations and strategy, bridging the gap between our internal teams, brand partners, and national network of retailers. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Support: Maintain regular contact with our sales teams, providing guidance, managing day-to-day needs, and equipping them with the seasonal sales tools they need to be successful. Relationship Building: Partner closely with sales reps to build and maintain key account relationships across the country, while managing direct relationships with our core brand partners. Sales Targets & Strategy: Develop and monitor seasonal sales targets, and participate in seasonal sales meetings (both digital and in-person). Data-Driven Strategy: Dive deep into sales data by running reports, creating accurate forecasts, and analyzing trends to uncover new revenue opportunities. Market Intelligence: Continually conduct competitive analysis covering pricing, retailer distribution, in-store presence, and marketing initiatives. Cross-Functional Collaboration: o Work hand-in-hand with the marketing team to align product storytelling for the Canadian market. o Partner with the ecommerce team to collaborate on promoted products and go-to-market (GTM) strategy. o Partner with the brand/purchasing teams to forecast demand, set seasonal pricing, and ensure the right product mix is secured for our market. Innovation: Bring fresh, creative ideas and modern tools to the table to continuously optimize sales performance. Market Presence: Undertake occasional market visits to various territories to support sales reps and connect directly with key accounts. What You Bring to the Table Experience: 3+ years of proven success in a sales management role or a strong background in B2B sales. Education: Post-secondary education in sales, marketing, or a related field, or relevant experience. Systems & Data Proficiency: Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically advanced Excel skills (such as summarizing data and running pivot tables), with a solid grasp of business math and margin calculations. Experience working with ERP and B2B ordering software (such as Acumatica and Elastic) is a strong asset. Mindset & Execution: You are an independent, creative problem-solver who can confidently figure things out on the fly. You are also a multi-tasker with meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Culture Fit: A collaborative team player who enjoys working seamlessly across all levels of an organization. An authentic interest or background in action sports, running, hiking, footwear, fashion, and/or sporting goods is a huge plus. Mobility: A valid driver’s license and the flexibility to travel across Canada and internationally. Preferred But Not Necessary: Proficiency in French.
