Job summary

| Resume We are seeking an experienced ETCS Technical Manager to lead the technical aspects of the design, integration, and deployment of European Train Control System (ETCS) solutions for large-scale railway projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating technical activities across multiple engineering disciplines, validating technical solutions, and ensuring compliance with functional, safety, and regulatory requirements. This individual will serve as the technical authority for the project, working closely with customers, engineering teams, and external stakeholders. | Your challenges ? The role involves the following tasks and responsibilities : Lead all technical activities related to ETCS systems throughout the project lifecycle ; Define and oversee the technical architecture of ETCS solutions ; Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams, including signalling, software, systems, telecommunications, validation and safety ; Ensure compliance with international railway standards, including ERTMS/ETCS and CENELEC (EN 50126, EN 50128, EN 50129) ; Participate in design reviews and approve technical deliverables ; Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies ; Act as the primary technical interface with customers, suppliers, and project stakeholders ; Support system integration, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities ; Provide technical guidance to engineering teams throughout project execution ; Ensure technical deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards. | What do we expect from you ? The minimum required skills necessary for this role : Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field ; Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in the railway industry ; Proven experience working on ETCS/ERTMS projects ; Previous experience in a Technical Manager, Lead Engineer, or System Engineering leadership role ; Strong understanding of railway signalling systems ; Experience with the V-Model development lifecycle and safety-critical systems ; Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in an international project environment ; Excellent communication and leadership skills. | What can you expect from TMC ?
