Tool Shed Brewing Company embodies the spirit of Albertan entrepreneurship and creating world class experiences while passionately elevating Western Canadian Agriculture. After years of supporting IT infrastructure projects for the Canadian and US governments and military in Afghanistan, Graham Sherman returned to Calgary. He redirected his high-level, geeky thinking towards crafting beer in his backyard tool shed. The decision to leave his job and pursue this passion faced municipal, provincial, and federal regulatory hurdles, significant financial challenges, and even a global pandemic. Today, 11 years later, the entire Tool Shed team proudly stands in our 15,000 square foot Brewery and BBQ Restaurant, a symbol of resilience, entrepreneurialism, and unconventional guerrilla marketing. Tool Shed consistently produces award-winning beers and barbecue, including World Championship Gold in 2022.
