We are looking for a dynamic multi-tasker who enjoys a mix of physical work, problem-solving, and meaningful human connection. You are the "eyes and ears" of our community—ensuring our grounds are looking their best as well as safe and welcoming. Key Responsibilities for this role will be to: 1. Maintain a neat, orderly and manicured appearance of the grounds, entrance, ravine, access walkways which includes trees, shrubs, beds and lawn; 2. Ensure water features are clean of debris and fully functioning; 3. All work to be completed in a professional manner; 4. All safety precautions are taken to ensure a safe work environment; 5. Report and communicate any serious problems encountered to the Maintenance Manager for immediate action; 6. Perform multiple tasks in a timely fashion; 7. Maintain a work log and communicate daily to the Maintenance Manager ongoing tasks and duties; 8. Work closely with the Landscaping staff at Touchmark, communicating regularly, coordinating schedules, and provide coaching or training as necessary 9. Work in conjunction with the contracted landscaping company on-site. Educational and Experience Requirements: - All employees of Touchmark are required to possess a clear Edmonton Police Service Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check prior to beginning employment. - Previous landscaping experience is a significant asset. What you’ll do

The Grounds Keeper is responsible for maintaining the appearance and safety of the grounds, including landscaping and water features. They will also communicate with the Maintenance Manager and coordinate with landscaping staff.

Requirements

Candidates must pass a criminal record check and previous landscaping experience is preferred. A high school education is required.
