General Description Lead Operators play a vital role in supporting the production of high-quality parts in a Just-in-time environment. By working in one of our production departments, there are endless growth opportunities for an exciting and dynamic career in the Automotive Industry. Duties And Responsibilities Follow work instructions to produce and verify conformance to quality standards. Meet hourly production quotas. Document daily production. Operate all injection machines and assembly stations Ability to be cross trained in many areas, tasks and or machinery. Ability to train FTMs in the absence of the Leader Tech. Understand and follow the Kanban system. Work in a safe manner within Health and Safety guidelines. Maintain 5S in all assigned areas. Requirements High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred –or—successful completion of an aptitude test You must be able to bend, reach, lift and perform the other physical requirements of the job. Accommodations can be made. Straight Shift Timing on Day Shift (6:00 AM-2:30 PM) but may be required to change shifts in order to accommodate production requirements. Nature of vacancy: Replacement
