General Description Lead Operators play a vital role in supporting the production of high-quality parts in a Just-in-time environment. Duties And Responsibilities Follow work instructions to produce and verify conformance to quality standards. Meet hourly production quotas. Document daily production. Operate all injection machines and assembly stations Ability to be cross trained in many areas, tasks and or machinery. Ability to train FTMs in the absence of the Leader Tech. Understand and follow the Kanban system. Work in a safe manner within Health and Safety guidelines. Maintain 5S in all assigned areas. Requirements High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred –or—successful completion of an aptitude test You must be able to bend, reach, lift and perform the other physical requirements of the job. Lead Operators support the production of high-quality automotive parts in a just-in-time environment. They are responsible for operating injection machines, meeting production quotas, and training team members.
