Job summary
Our client, a well-known healthcare organization, is looking for a Recruitment Assistant on a 6 month contract. As a Recruitment Assistant you will be supporting the HR team with recruitment and administrative support through the recruitment process. Perks & Benefits: Strong hourly pay at $30.00 - $33.00/hour based on experience Possibility for hybrid arrangement after training completes Gain hands on experience with a variety of HR and Recruitment tasks Work with a collaborative team Generous PTO and Benefits package What You Will Be Doing: Prepare and send offer and employee transfer letters. Administer onboarding tasks for new hires using the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Create job postings and process hires in the ATS. Support internal recruitment and qualifying processes for union employees. Coordinate reference checks for shortlisted candidates. Schedule interviews and support recruitment operations. Administer online employment testing for clerical positions. Provide general administrative and project support to the Recruitment team as required. Who You Are: Post-secondary education in Human Resources Management or a related field, with some HR/recruitment or office administration experience. Basic understanding of recruitment and HR processes. Strong organizational, administrative, customer service, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate schedules, and work effectively in a team environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook and Teams; experience with ATS/HRIS systems is an asset. Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
