Job Description In collaboration with the Supervisor, Groups, the incumbent is responsible for coordinating and managing group sales activities for Transat. They play a key role in achieving sales objectives by providing high-quality advisory services to travel agencies and partners, while maximizing revenues and maintaining the company's competitive position in the market. Responsibilities: Obtain group pricing and availability, follow up on opportunities, and maximize group sales. Achieve established sales targets and contribute to revenue growth within the groups segment. Manage the entire group booking cycle, from quotation to file closure, while ensuring quality control. Negotiate special agreements related to groups, events, conventions and familiarization trips. Respond to travel agency inquiries regarding pricing, availability, products, and general group-related information. Collaborate with key accounts and internal teams to ensure effective management of group sales. Identify cross-selling opportunities, promote Transat products and services, and process fare adjustment requests. Participate in industry events, including trade shows, product launches, and familiarization trips, as required. Qualifications Diploma in Travel and Tourism. Two to three years of experience in the travel industry, including relevant experience in group sales. Proven sales experience with demonstrated ability to develop business opportunities and close sales. Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills. Analytical mindset, business acumen, understanding of financial concepts, and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and demonstrated proficiency with collaborative digital tools and AI solutions (e.g., Copilot). Excellent knowledge of TTS as a strong asset. Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
