TransCanada Turbines (TCT) is the sole authorized overhaul, repair and maintenance service provider for Siemens and General Electric (GE) aeroderivative industrial gas turbines, serving an expanding international client base. TCT operates an overhaul depot in Airdrie, Alberta (15 minutes north of Calgary, Alberta); a testing facility in Calgary, Alberta; and four field service offices located around the world. The licensed overhaul depot is complete with in house inspection, non-destructive testing (NDT), automated clean line, kitting and central logistics, rotor balancing and complete build capabilities. The overhaul depot is specially designed to allow for enhanced induction capacity. TCT has both onsite capacity and off site agreements for engine testing and calibration. All global field service locations are complete with shop space, Level II tooling, spare parts inventory and fully qualified personnel. The Bench Technician is responsible for repairing gas turbine engine components using hand tools and following OEM documentation. They will also assist in training personnel, establishing work priorities, and maintaining health, safety, and environmental standards.

Field Service Representative - Instrumentation & Controls (Canada)

The Field Service Representative assists with maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and commissioning of industrial gas turbine control systems and instrumentation. They are responsible for completing service reports, maintaining tools, and performing shop-based equipment preparation and testing.

Shot peening Operator

The Shotpeen Operator is responsible for the restoration and repair of industrial gas turbine components using both automated and manual equipment. This role involves preparing components, performing intensity verification, and maintaining equipment to ensure compliance with OEM specifications.

Industrial Robot Operator

The Industrial Robot Operator is responsible for programming and operating FANUC robots for the repair of gas turbine components, including thermal spraying and NDT inspection. They also provide training to technicians and assist in various cell operations such as masking and component setup.
