As a School Bus Driver, you will play an important role in safely transporting students to and from school and making a positive impact on families across Yellowknife. Your Role Safely transport students to and from school according to assigned routes and schedules. Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Ensure students board, exit, and cross the street safely. Communicate professionally with students, families, schools, dispatch, and supervisors. Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and operating standards. Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful environment for students. Create a safe, respectful, and positive experience for students. Make a meaningful contribution to the Yellowknife community. The Perks $32.00 per hour 4 hours per day guaranteed Support to obtain the required S Endorsement, where applicable. Monday to Friday schedule Summers, PD days, weekends, and statutory holidays off Opportunities to pick up additional shifts for extra income. A clean, positive, and supportive work environment. Opportunities for career growth within Transdev across Canada and North America. Your Profile Valid NWT Class 1 or Class 2 Driver’s Licence is required. A valid NWT Class 5 Driver’s Licence may be accepted, provided you obtain the required Class 2 licence/permit and S Endorsement before operating a school bus. Transdev will provide the required training. S Endorsement is an asset. Clean driving record. Ability to communicate effectively in English. Previous experience safely transporting passengers is an asset. Dependable, safety-focused, patient, and professional approach. Comfortable working with children and maintaining a calm and respectful environment. Pre-Hire Requirements Employment is conditional upon successfully completing the following: Driver’s abstract review. Criminal record check. Vulnerable sector check. Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing, including cannabis, in accordance with company policy. Your Schedule & Location This is a part-time split-shift position based in Yellowknife. Drivers Typically Work Monday To Friday, With Morning shift: approximately 6:00 AM–9:00 AM Afternoon shift: approximately 2:00 PM–5:00 PM The position guarantees 4 hours of work per day, with the possibility of additional hours depending on operational needs. Requirements

Requires a valid NWT Class 1, 2, or 5 Driver's Licence and the ability to obtain an S Endorsement. Candidates must pass a criminal record check, vulnerable sector check, and drug and alcohol testing.
