As a Licensed Electrician you will be responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems, machines & equipment. Key Responsibilities Power Distribution Systems Single Phase and Three Phase 120/240, 277/480, 347/575 MCC installation Switchgear/Switchboard installation Industrial Automation System Retrofitting; relay logic conversion to PLC driven systems System Upgrading; replacement/upgrading of outdated PLC systems to newer hardware Control wiring from PLC to MCC/Starter Cabinet Control wiring to field devices; proximity sensors, point level indication, continuous level indication, flow indication, temperature indication, position indication Variable Frequency, DC Drive and Soft Start Installation Allen Bradley, Eaton, Benshaw Turn-Key Custom Control Panels PLC Cabinets VFD/Soft Start Cabinets Equipment and Machine Cabinets Cabinet ratings and materials customer specific i.e. Nema 1, Nema 4x, Explosion Proof Power Factor Correction and Alternative Power Installation Capacitor Bank installation Back-Up Generator and Co-Gen installation Fiber Optic Network installation Electrical Responsibilities Run conduit & pull wire EMT Rigid Steel Rigid Aluminum PVC On-Site wiring of field devices and equipment Assist foreman on job sites Assist in training of Apprentices Maintain membership in good standing with the College of Trades Clean-up and organization of job site Work in a safe manner & adhere to all safety policies & procedures Always conduct oneself in a professional manner in alignment with Company values, including but not limited to language use, attire, and workmanship In accordance with Company policy and relevant employment legislation, overtime and work outside of regular hours, and being on call may be required at the discretion of the company All other duties as assigned Reporting Responsibilities Monitor schedule daily in Agendrix for job site start times, site contacts and instructions Maintain weekly time sheets for self and crew, ensuring accuracy and noting description of work performed, and submit weekly on time Manage Health and Safety documentation for job site by submitting daily Job Hazard Assessments via Site Docs, noting job sire conditions, use of equipment and PPE to ensure that all work is performed safely and in accordance with company polices Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent Licensed 309A Electrician Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Additional certificates and training would be considered a strong asset Experience in rigid conduit threading an installation considered a strong asset Ability to perform in a fast-paced team environment Familiar with basic hand and power tools Mechanical aptitude Valid driver's license and a clean driving record Benefits Employees are encouraged to take ownership of their career growth through continuous learning and development opportunities.
