SECURITY SYSTEMS MANAGER

Provides technical support and consultation to customers, architects, engineers, sales teams, and field technicians. Oversees project execution, including system design, permitting requirements, material procurement, labour scheduling, installation support, and project closeout. Participates in work-in-progress meetings and provides regular project updates to stakeholders. Ensures compliance with applicable codes, standards, manufacturer specifications, and project requirements. Coordinates and delivers training for branch personnel, technicians, and subcontractors on security and solution-based products. Supports national sales initiatives and provides field support as required. Evaluates and tests emerging technologies and products to support innovation and continuous improvement. Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: Post-secondary education in Electronics Engineering Technology, or a related field. (preferred) 5 years of experience in the security systems industry. Strong knowledge of ULC Monitoring and Installation Standards, Access Control Systems, CCTV/Video Surveillance Systems, Intrusion Detection/Security Systems, Nurse Call/Healthcare Communication Systems, and PA/Intercom Systems. Experience with system design, estimating, proposal development, and technical documentation. Strong leadership, communication, and customer relationship management skills. Proven ability to train, mentor, and support technical teams across multiple locations. Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time-management abilities. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout Canada as required.
