We are seeking a dedicated, skilled, and energetic Level II Dental Assistant to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist during a wide range of clinical procedures. Key Responsibilities * Assist the dentist during examinations, treatments, and a variety of clinical procedures. * Prepare, organize, and set up trays, instruments, and materials prior to procedures. * Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays) in compliance with HARP regulations. * Provide chairside support including suctioning, passing instruments, and ensuring patient comfort. * Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and post-operative instructions. * Sterilize instruments and maintain clinical operatory cleanliness according to infection control and IPAC standards. * Document patient care in the practice management system accurately and promptly. * Assist with impressions, whitening procedures, and other Level II duties as permitted. * Maintain inventory of dental supplies and report stock needs to the clinical lead or dentist. * Support a smooth and efficient patient flow throughout the day by collaborating closely with the dental team. Qualifications * NDAEB-Certified Level II Dental Assistant (required). * HARP Certification (required). * Knowledge of dental terminology, clinical procedures, and dental instruments/equipment. * Experience with orthodontics or pediatric dentistry is an asset. * Familiarity with dental software such as Open Dental, Dentrix, Tracker, Abeldent, or Paradigm is highly desirable. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients. * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. * Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality care. * Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development. * Positive, team-oriented attitude with a passion for patient-centered care.
