VP of Engineering

About Us We are building the future of insurance. We’re building Canada’s first full-stack AI insurance carrier purpose built for the next generation. We are targeting the next generation of consumers with gamified products (we call it “Win What You Cover”). Customers receive a frictionless process with instant-bind policies and claims 100% handled by AI, requiring no human intervention. This creates a better customer experience, and superior unit economics for our business. We are currently closing a $2M USD pre-Seed round and looking to build fast. The Role In this role, you will own the technology agenda, leading development and deployment of our entire tech stack, most critical of which will be our claims handling and fraud detection. You will work side by side with the CEO in building out our product roadmap and determining and executing hiring needs for you team. Candidates should have a strong software engineering or computer science background and knowledge of ML/AI systems and cloud infrastructure. Experience in building customer-facing products and a background in early-stage startups is preferred but not required.
