We are now looking for an experienced Dock Supervisor to join our Edmonton Service Centre team Your Role: Reporting to the Terminal Manager, this position will be responsible for the supervision and coordination of Dock operations. You will ensure effective routing and planning of delivery routes, supervise loading and unloading processes, ensuring on time departures. Shifts hours: 12 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Responsibilities: Administrative duties to support an efficient operation Maintaining Company OH&S standards Working with operations team to meet targets and objectives Oversee operations to ensure timely and accurate processing of shipments Plan and coordinate Less Than Truckload (LTL) shipments Provide support in Warehouse and Logistics Handle customer escalation situations that require increased attention Ensure proper utilization of Line haul Trailers Effectively communicate issues to management Qualifications: Previous Transportation or operational experience Forklift knowledge would be considered an asset Previous experience in a unionized environment is considered an asset Proficient communication skills Comfortable with computer technology (email and online web tools) AS400 experience is an asset Demonstrated customer relationship skills Self-starter and ability to manage with minimal supervision Able to meet deadlines in a high transactional operations environment What we offer: In return for your commitment, we offer a competitive salary and a comprehensive pension and group benefit plan.
