Job summary

Role: Materials Ordering Analyst Location: Cambridge & Woodstock Duration: Expected to run until end of 2026, with potential for extension What you’ll be doing Analyst – Materials Parts Ordering. Daily and weekly tasks related to parts management, scrap parts, parts abnormality management, Engineering Change Instruction (ECI) Management etc. Ensure best practices and compliance with parts and scrap processing, work with and assist other Analysts with problem resolution. Monitor abnormal conditions and escalate Key Performance Indicator (KPI) abnormalities and concerns to management as required. Monitor and support continuous improvement projects, buildout activities, etc. Coordinate and support supplier compliance activities. Proactive data analysis to avoid customer or supplier impact. Support abnormality investigations and apply Business Practice fundamentals to identify root cause. Support projects related to Materials Model Change activities along with various initiatives. Qualifications: Post-secondary education in Business, Mathematics, Supply Chain, or Engineering. Experience:1-5 years of relevant industry experience. Knowledge of inventory management in a lean manufacturing environment. Proven Project Management skills . Knowledge in the areas of Production Control, Logistics, Inventory Control, Supply Chain Management. Business process analysis and documentation experience would be an asset. Possess a strong aptitude for accurate numerical calculations and data manipulation Proven problem identification and problem-solving skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and Team mindset. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft software applications and aptitude to learn new systems. Able to support overtime and on call requirements when needed Flexible to work at Cambridge and Woodstock locations This post is for an existing vacancy.
