This role will support corporate, financial reporting, and performance analytics on a major capital project, playing a key role in enabling data-driven decision-making, governance, and performance management.The ideal candidate brings demonstrated experience in cost control and/or project finance within mining (preferred), oil & gas, or large-scale construction environments, combined with intermediate Power BI capabilities and a solid understanding of data modelling, KPI development, and reporting frameworks.Job DescriptionAs Cost Controller - Reporting & Analytics you will:Support requirement definition, develop business process maps and any training material for Corporate reporting dashboards.Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards that provide clear, decision-ready insights across cost, commitments, cash flow, and performance metricsProvide ad hoc analysis and customized reports to support executive and operational decision makingTranslate complex project data (SAP/ERP, cost systems, procurement, and schedule inputs) into structured, reliable reporting outputsDefine and maintain KPIs, including tolerance thresholds, and support performance tracking aligned to Finance governance and review processesEnsure data integrity, reconciliation, and alignment across multiple data sources and reporting layersSupport monthly reporting cycles, including preparation of finance review materials, variance commentary, and risk identificationCollaborate with Corporate functions, and operational teams to align reporting with business processes and decision-making needsContinuously improve reporting efficiency by reducing manual processes and enhancing automation and standardizationQualifications7+ years of experience in cost control, project finance, or financial analysis within mining, oil & gas, or infrastructure projectsStrong understanding of project financial processes including cost control, forecasting, earned value, commitments, accruals, and cash flowIntermediate Power BI skills, including data modeling, DAX, and dashboard designExperience working with ERP systems ( SAP is preferrable)Demonstrated ability to develop KPIs and performance reporting frameworks that support governance and decision-makingStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present insights to senior stakeholdersExperience in a project-based environment is highly preferredHigh engagement and proactive attitude that thrives is a high pace environmentAdditional InformationWhat's in it for you... 100% covered health and dental benefits for you and your dependents (including paramedical services) Health spending account, to top up expenses not covered in the benefits program RRSP option with company matching Annual learning and development budget Access to a range of online learning tools, and support for career development and growth Coverage of one professional membership or license fee per year, if directly related to your roleWe believe in work-life balance, so you can recharge and take care of what matters most with vacation, flex and sick days A flexible, hybrid work approach that allows colleagues to find balance between their professional and personal lives Commitment to creating a diverse, equitable and inclusive culture that promotes a sense of belonging Our inspired people share our vision and mission. Requirements

Requires over 7 years of experience in cost control or project finance within mining, oil & gas, or infrastructure sectors. Must possess intermediate Power BI skills and experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
