Job Description Job Description Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to support the delivery of a large-scale data centre construction program in Edmonton, Alberta. Reporting to project leadership, you will lead health, safety, and environmental initiatives across the project while driving a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with regulatory and project requirements. Key Responsibilities Lead and implement project HSE programs, policies, and procedures. Promote a proactive safety culture through coaching, engagement, and visible leadership. Conduct site inspections, audits, and safety assessments. Monitor contractor HSE performance and ensure timely resolution of corrective actions. Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses. Review risk assessments, safe work plans, and environmental management plans. Track and report HSE performance metrics, trends, and key project indicators. Provide expert HSE guidance to project leadership, contractors, and stakeholders. Ensure compliance with Alberta OHS legislation and industry best practices. Qualifications Degree, diploma, or certification in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, Construction, Engineering, or a related field. Professional designation such as CRSP, CHSC, CSP, or NCSO preferred. 8+ years of HSE experience within large-scale construction projects. Experience supporting data centres, industrial, commercial, or mission-critical projects is considered a strong asset. Strong knowledge of Alberta health and safety regulations. Experience managing contractor safety programs and conducting incident investigations. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package.
