About

Tusk Automation is a mining-focused controls and industrial automation company based in British Columbia. We design, integrate, and commission process control systems for mining operations across Canada, with a particular focus on mineral processing and mine water treatment. Our work spans the full project lifecycle — from control system architecture and panel design through to site commissioning and operator handover. Recent projects include PlantPAX DCS integration on active mine water treatment plants, thickener underflow density optimization, and process control system upgrades where the plant stays running throughout. We're a small, technical team. The engineers who scope your project are the same ones on site during commissioning. That means fewer handoffs, faster problem-solving, and a team that's accountable for how the system actually performs in production. We work with mine owners, EPCM firms, and project teams on both greenfield and brownfield projects. If you're planning a process control scope or trying to get more out of an existing system, we'd like to hear about it.
