Req.) - REMOTE Description Our client, a managed services provider (MSP), is looking for a Technical Product Engineer to add to their remote team in Canada. In this role, you will own software features from concept through delivery by understanding customer needs, designing solutions, writing and testing code, deploying enhancements, and supporting production systems. During the initial ramp-up period, you will learn and support the legacy ERP platform while addressing customer needs before transitioning into modernization initiatives focused on delivering new features using AI-driven development workflows. The ideal candidate has experience building ERP, finance, or accounting software while balancing strong software engineering skills with product-focused thinking. To be successful, you must be highly curious, customer-focused, adaptable, and comfortable taking ownership in a fast-paced autonomous environment. Technical Product Engineer (ERP / Financial Software Exp. Req.) - REMOTE Responsibilities • Own product features from concept through deployment and ongoing production support • Collaborate with customers & cross-functional teams to develop ERP and financial software solutions • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain business-critical ERP software features • Learn and support the legacy ERP platform during the initial onboarding period • Modernize legacy applications by refactoring code and developing new functionality • Utilize AI tools daily to accelerate software development, testing, and modernization efforts • Design and implement business logic supporting ERP, finance, and accounting workflows • Support build, deployment, release, and upgrade processes for legacy and modern platforms • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve customer issues within production environments • Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives • Collaborate with teammates to deliver intuitive, reliable, and scalable software solutions Technical Product Engineer (ERP / Financial Software Exp. Req.) - REMOTE Qualifications • 7+ years of software engineering and/or product engineering experience is required • Recent ERP, finance, or accounting software development experience is required • Experience using AI tools daily to support software engineering and testing is required • Strong back-end development in a mainstream language is required; C#/.NET preferred • Hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases is required • Interest in legacy software maintenance and modernization is required
