Supervisor Fuel Yard

The Company has a pulp mill located in Edmundston, N.B., and paper mills located in various locations in the United States. For the Edmundston Pulp Mill, we are currently seeking a: Supervisor Production (Fuel Yard)). Challenges: * Promote and ensure a safe work environment with employee's participation * Plan, prioritize, coordinate, supervise, and review the activities in assigned areas * Fuel Yard / Chipping / Ground Wood * Control operational activities while respecting environmental targets * Ensures that unloading of Biomass and Chips are done in a safe and efficient manor * Coordinate and organize priorities effectively * Continually assess operational parameters with target KPI intervals * Work with operation employees to optimize costs, maintain desired quality * Ensure operation stability * Training and development of team members Profile: * Committed to top performance in a safe work environment * Demonstrated ability to lead a team * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Able to organize and prioritize * Autonomy and teamwork orientation * Ability to adapt to unforeseen situations and a good ability to work under pressures Requirements: * Degree / Trade: Preferably in technical, mechanical, or forestry discipline * 5 years plus of supervisory experience in production or manufacturing environment * Any other combination of training and relevant experience may be considered * Bilingualism is an asset (French and English)

Supervise and coordinate activities within the Fuel Yard, Chipping, and Ground Wood areas to ensure operational stability and safety. Focus on optimizing costs, maintaining quality, and managing the efficient unloading of biomass and chips while meeting environmental targets.

Requires over 5 years of supervisory experience in a production or manufacturing environment. A degree or trade certification in a technical, mechanical, or forestry discipline is preferred, and bilingualism is considered an asset.
