This fully remote opportunity is ideal for a mid-level professional with a strong background in ontology design and practical application of knowledge graph concepts. You will play a key role in shaping the architecture and semantic structure of a knowledge graph to support advanced data integration and retrieval. Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement ontologies for knowledge graph projects Collaborate with data engineers and subject matter experts to define schema and relationships Apply best practices in semantic modeling and data structuring Evaluate and select appropriate tools and frameworks for ontology management Ensure scalability, consistency, and accuracy of the knowledge graph Document ontology structures and provide guidance for integration with existing systems Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ontology and data modeling Skills And Requirements Proven experience in ontology design and knowledge graph development Proficiency with RDF, OWL, SPARQL, and related semantic web technologies Strong understanding of data modeling, taxonomies, and schema design Experience with knowledge graph platforms (e.g., Neo4j, Stardog, GraphDB) Ability to translate business requirements into semantic models Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related field preferred About Twine Twine is a leading freelance marketplace connecting top freelancers, consultants, and contractors with companies needing creative and tech expertise.
