Responsibilities Follow picking/packing/shipping instructions from a hand-held device. Replenish inventory locations following the standard process. Unload incoming shipments, stage and sort packages. Verify and inspect shipments as per Tyndale’s receiving guidelines. Record and properly complete internal and external paperwork. Label garments with barcodes as needed. Put away materials following established put-away procedures. Separate orders into groups or singles in preparation for shipping. Perform visual inspection verifying garments match items ordered on the packing list, also checking for matching logos and hemming/alterations of garments. Scan barcodes on packing lists, inventory locations, containers and merchandise. Communicate issues to the warehouse supervisor in a timely manner. Assemble boxes/bags, pack orders after scanning, insert all paperwork and apply shipping label. Perform other projects and duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to read and function handheld devices. Prior experience in warehouse operations and warehouse management systems a plus. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Physically able to lift and move boxes up to 45 lbs. without assistance. Ability to operate material handling equipment. Valid fork-lift certification a plus. Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar software. Work Environment/Physical Demands: Working conditions in the Warehouse/DC have fluctuations in temperature according to seasons. Expectations include standing at lengths of time, occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, reaching overhead or below shoulder level, repeated motions that may include wrists, hands, and/or fingers, and lifting boxes that weigh up to 45lbs, and responsibilities are considered physically active.
