AWS Backend Developer

We are seeking a skilled AWS Backend Developer to our banking client and help build scalable, cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience developing serverless solutions using AWS Lambda, Node.js, and AWS messaging services, with a solid understanding of cloud security and best practices. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js and AWS Lambda. Build and support event-driven and serverless applications on AWS. Implement and manage integrations using AWS SQS and other AWS services. Develop secure and scalable APIs and backend components. Configure and maintain AWS IAM roles, policies, and permissions following security best practices. Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance application performance, reliability, and scalability. Collaborate with architects, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions. Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities. Required Skills Strong hands-on experience with Node.js backend development. Experience developing serverless applications using AWS Lambda. Experience with AWS SQS and event-driven architectures. Solid understanding of AWS IAM, security principles, and access management. Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs. Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines. Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Nice to Have Experience with API Gateway, DynamoDB, SNS, EventBridge, or Step Functions. Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation). Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Experience working in Agile environments.
