The technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various automotive systems and components. They must also estimate costs, perform scheduled maintenance, and advise customers on necessary repairs.

Candidates must have a Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience and 3 to 5 years of professional experience. A Trade Certification as an Automotive Service Technician is required.
