Dialogue and reconciliation. Political and economic reforms. Local development and empowerment. Required experience and qualifications: * A doctorate or equivalent training in the discipline or a related field. * Expertise in peace processes, different forms of peace, and national and international policies and practices for sustainable peace; * Expertise in dialogue, reconciliation, and social development aimed at achieving sustainable peace and preventing conflict; * Practical experience in peace processes would be an asset * Passive proficiency in the second official language * Sensitivity to multiple differences (including abilities, genders, and cultures) and to students' concerns. * Proficiency with both in-person and online learning tools Please submit your application (letter of intent and CV) online using the job posting system, by July 7, 2026, 11:59 PM. What you’ll do

The professor will deliver the course ECS 5518 on Contemporary Peace Consolidation in person from September to December 2026. Responsibilities include teaching national and international policies designed to eliminate violent conflict and promote reconciliation.

Requirements

A doctorate in a related discipline and expertise in peace processes, reconciliation, and social development are required. Proficiency in both in-person and online learning tools and sensitivity to diversity are also essential.
