Job summary

Are you a fan of western classical chamber music? Are you interested in learning more about it? Do you wish the repertoire included more compositions from black, brown, asian, indigenous and historically marginalized people? Do you notice that when concert programs don't include any works by women, or only do so on women's day? Do you also have a head for numbers and experience balancing books? The Untitled Ensemble Chamber Music Society is looking for a new Treasurer who would like to help us make a gentle and persistent difference in the music we hear in chamber music performances. The time commitment would be approximately 5 hours per month. Tasks may include, but are not limited to: Settlement of bills, donations, bank reconciliation, expense reports Preparation of financial records and reports Preparation of tax information (T2 and T4 slips), financial information for the board and government Policy and procedure development Attend (virtually) board meetings to help facilitate and lead the budget planning process Attend Untitled Ensemble Concerts and events!
