Job Description Job Summary This position is responsible for loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, scanning, sorting, and stocking packages. He/She may utilize heavy machinery to complete tasks. This position performs other tasks as assigned in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Learns and properly executes UPS package handling methods. Loads and unloads UPS packages into trailers or package cars . Qualifications Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./32 kgs. Ability to read and memorize postal codes Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week Warehouse experience - Preferred Must have a valid Red RAIC or must be present in Canada for at least 5 years DA or DAW is preferred without suspension Must have a Class 5 driver license Must be able to available to start work at 1530hrs from Monday to Friday. Some flexibility to start earlier than 1530hrs is preferred Hourly Wages: Starting at $18.00/hourly Location: 22 Aero Drive NE, Calgary UPS is a diverse and equal opportunity employer. Requirements
Candidates must be able to lift up to 70 lbs, read and memorize postal codes, hold a Class 5 driver license, and have a valid Red RAIC or have been present in Canada for at least five years. Availability to start at 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and work flexible shifts is required; warehouse experience and DA or DAW without suspension are preferred.
