ABOUT THE ROLE Reporting to the Service Manager, Mechanical, the Service Millwright duties will range from planned work order execution to troubleshooting and repairs. You will be responsible for diagnosing and ensuring client concerns are resolved in a timely manner. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Travel to a variety of customer sites in different industries to execute planned maintenance and/or respond to emergency service calls, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair (or schedule for repair); * Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial machinery and mechanical equipment to minimize downtime and restore equipment to operation; * Perform preventative maintenance and install, assemble, align, and commission machinery and equipment as required; * Communicate professionally with customers, clearly explaining findings, recommended repairs, timelines, and next steps; * Perform all work safely and in accordance with company, customer, and regulatory safety requirements, including lockout procedures and site-specific protocols; * Participate in the on-call rotation and respond to after-hours emergency service calls as required. You are mechanically minded, resourceful, and able to troubleshoot problems and find practical solutions. Above all, you take pride in your trade, work safely, and are committed to delivering quality work for our customers. Our Must Haves * Successfully obtained your Red Seal Millwright certification; * Hold a valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract; * Committed to customer service and going the extra mile while servicing clients; * Ability to think on your feet and utilize strong problem-solving capabilities; * Experience working in food and beverage, manufacturing, distribution, recycling plants, or heavy industrial will be considered an asset.
